Today Pakistan is playing against Bangladesh in the final of Asia Cup. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field. Volunteers from different schools participated in "Sheen Watan" plantation campaign in Jamrud. Have a look at some of the pictures of the event.
It all started from the idea of planting few trees in our surroundings and soon became "Sheen Pekhawar" which was then extended to "Sheen Khyber Pukhtunkhwa". When we started contacting people to motivate them to take part in the plantation campaign, we were amazed by the positive response given by people. "Sheen Khyber Pukhtunkhwa" campaign started in Khyber Agency. In first phase, 400 trees were supplied to Govt. College of Management Sciences, Jamrud, Khyber agency. Students and faculty members of the college volunteered for the cause. Trees were planted by the faculty and students of the college.
